More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesDirect beneficiaries are the project managers and staff members of three women NGOs in Maharashtra; some 135 women with mostly limited formal education. Indirect beneficiaries are all children and women participating in the social, health and educational projects run by the NGOs in the slums. With improved capabilities in project management and professional skills the NGOs will run the projects more efficiently and improve their help. ActivitiesA detailed training needs assessment is the first step. Workshops in team development and communication skills follow. All staff will be trained according to their jobs in professional and administrative skill development and project management. Funding InformationTotal Funding Received to Date: $120 Funding InformationThis project is now in implementation and no longer available for funding. Received funds will be used to accomplish concrete objectives as indicated in the project's "Activities" section. Updates will be posted under the "Progress Report" tab as they become available.
