More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesMalaria is the main cause of disease and 75 mosquito nets will protect all beds in the village. Fiarenana, known for its fruit trees, had a successful three nursery years ago. Revitalizing the nursery, utilizing local expertise, will improve the availability of food and good nutrition, and create income producing seedlings and dried fruit to be sold throughout the region. Safe drinking water could be achieved by installing communal hand pump/s and the use of a solar water pasteurizer. ActivitiesProviding mosquito nets helps reduce malaria.
