More Information About this ProjectProject Needs and BeneficiariesOur project strives to overcome scourge of poverty and illiteracy in Yerevan offering 90 working children to take part in special trainings thus obtaining full education ommited under the working circumstances. ActivitiesIf we provide the children's education they will be able to cope with the problems of life in a literate way and thus the number of children's abuse will reduce. In the framework of the project “Providing education for 100 children in Armenia” in 2007 from September to 2008 May 10 working children received knowledge on different subjects, conducted professions in different spheres. 6 children (4 children are boys, 2 children are girls) from 10 working children finished schools and organized events. 4 boys now are working and then they should serve in army. 2 girls are spending their summer holidays. As it is summer holidays now 4 children are working in the garden of the school. They are being paid by the administration of the school.
